Bio

Hi, my name is Phoomphavis. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. I have worked in the oil and gas industry for several years.

I’m currently pursuing an MS degree in Energy Science and Engineering at Stanford. In my free time, I enjoy running , especially marathons.

Research Interests

I’m particularly interested in topics related to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), especially the impacts of CO2 injection on storage reservoirs and how these impacts can affect well injectivity and storage capacity.
