Bio

I am pursuing a master’s with a focus on sustainable energy storage and grid optimization. My academic journey began with a bachelor’s in physics from Leibniz University Hannover, where I specialized in thermodynamics and atomic physics. My interest in renewable energy storage was sparked by involvement in environmental debates and research at CERN, where I studied adiabatic transport of antiparticles for my bachelor’s thesis. This summer, I interned at Thomas Harter’s lab in hydrogeology, transitioning into the subsurface sciences.

Research Interests

At Stanford, I aim to further my research in hydrogen storage under the guidance of Prof. Anthony Kovscek. My goal is to contribute to large-scale energy storage solutions to support the global transition to renewable energy. Outside academia, I volunteer with NAJU (The Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union Youth) and serve in the German Federal Youth Council (DBJR), advocating for environmental causes. I believe that engaging with fellow citizens and openly communicating ideas is my democratic duty to achieving a sustainable future. I also hold a diploma in contemporary dance, which allows me to choreograph and teach, combining my passion for the arts with community involvement.
